What is “Short Stories Project”?
Short Stories’ is an experimental performance project that blends movement, spatial storytelling, and emotional imagery. Inspired by the synergy between the Michael Chekhov Technique and Laban-Bartenieff Movement System, the project explores how the body becomes a narrative vessel beyond words.
The project emerged from my long-standing exploration of embodied acting and movement. It was first presented as a closed-circle premiere in December 2023 and later expanded into two public performances in Amsterdam and Den Haag in June 2024.

Short stories offer writers the freedom to explore a wide range of themes, from everyday life to deep philosophical questions, all within a compact format.
This flexibility allows for artistic expression in its purest form.
In our production, "Short Stories," we've embraced this artistic freedom to its fullest. Each story is a miniature masterpiece, inspired by renowned writers such as Nicole Veddle, Robert Tompkins, Andrew E. Hunt, Charles Enright, Damon Yanger, Brian Newell, and Hope A.Torres.
